Is there really no monthly fee?

Correct. You pay $500 once and there is no monthly fee, ever. Hosting, SSL and uptime monitoring are included for as long as the site exists, at no extra cost. The only recurring bill is your domain, about $12 to $20 a year, paid to your registrar rather than to me.

What does the $500 include?

A website of up to 20 pages, a logo if you do not have one, all of the writing, mobile layout on every page, a contact form that emails you directly, a photo gallery, a Google Maps embed, up to 3 service-area pages, click-to-call on every page, an SSL certificate, on-page SEO, hosting, and 2 rounds of changes before launch. There are no upsells and no surprise line items.

Why is it only $500?

Accepted Answer

Because I build the same thing over and over for home-service trades. Your services, your photos, your service area, a contact form. I am not designing you a custom app and I am not billing you for account managers. The work takes a day and $500 covers it. The site is not worse than a $5,000 site at getting you calls. It is just built from a pattern instead of from scratch.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. Hosting is free for the life of the site and there are no recurring fees from me. Domain registration is separate, roughly $12 to $20 a year, and you buy it yourself so it stays in your name. If you want changes after launch they are billed hourly, and you approve the estimate before I start.

How do I pay?

Card or debit through Stripe. You can also pay half up front and half when the site goes live if that is easier, and I take check, Zelle or cash. Whichever you pick, you are paying once.

Do you offer payment plans?

Ask me. Splitting the $500 into installments is usually workable, and paying half up front with the balance at launch is the simplest version of that. I would rather work out a schedule than have you put a website on a credit card you are already carrying.

What do I need to provide?

Your business name, your services, the cities you cover and a phone number. If you have photos of finished jobs, send those too, because real pictures of your work beat anything else on the page. If you have an existing site, a Google Business Profile or an active Facebook page, I can pull most of it from there instead.

What if I do not have photos of my work?

Accepted Answer

It does not hold up the build. I use industry-specific stock photography that matches your trade, and we swap in your own shots whenever you get them. That said, take the phone out on your next job. Homeowners can tell the difference between a real crew and a stock photo, and it is the single cheapest upgrade your site will ever get.

Do you write the website content for me?

Yes. Headlines, service descriptions, service-area pages, calls to action, all of it. I write it based on what actually gets a home-service business called, and you read the whole thing before it goes live. If you would rather write it yourself, send me the text and I will use yours.

What if I do not have a logo?

I make you one. It is a clean wordmark built from your business name, set properly and supplied as files you keep and can use on trucks, shirts and business cards. It is not a branding exercise and it is not a hand-drawn illustration, but it will look like a real business rather than a default font.

How long does it take?

24 hours from the moment I have your details. The clock starts when the materials arrive, not when you pay. If you are missing photos or a logo I start anyway, because I supply both, so there is very little that can actually stall a build.

How many revisions do I get?

Accepted Answer

Two full rounds before launch. You look at it on your phone, send me a list, I fix the list, and we do that twice. Most sites are right after the first round. If something is still wrong after the second, I keep working on it. I am not going to launch a site you do not want your name on.

Can you build it on WordPress?

Accepted Answer

No. I build with fast, modern code rather than a page builder, which is why the sites load quickly and score well with Google. WordPress needs constant plugin updates and security patching, and that is the kind of ongoing cost this price is designed to avoid. If you specifically need WordPress, I am the wrong person and I will say so.

What if I need changes later?

Email or text me what you want. Changes are billed at $45 an hour and most edits take less than that. A text change or a photo swap is usually under an hour, a new page is one to two. I tell you the estimate before I start and you are never billed for something you did not approve.

Can I edit the site myself?

Accepted Answer

There is no login to break, which is deliberate. Sites built on drag-and-drop editors get slower and messier every time someone moves a box, and the people who need a website least are the ones with time to maintain one. Send me the change instead. If you would rather have the keys, say so before I build and I will tell you honestly whether that is a good idea for your setup.

Is hosting really free forever?

Yes. Hosting, the SSL certificate and uptime monitoring are included for the life of the site at no extra cost. There is no invoice coming for it later. If you ever want to move it to your own hosting, I hand over the code and help you point the domain.

Can I add pages or features later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. New service pages, more service areas, a booking link, a gallery expansion. Anything bigger than an edit gets a flat estimate up front rather than an open-ended hourly bill, so you know the number before you agree to it.

Do you do SEO?

Accepted Answer

Basic on-page SEO is included and it is what a small local site actually needs: page titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, local business schema, an XML sitemap, Search Console submission, and your business name and city where Google looks for them, plus service-area pages. Will I show up first on Google?

I will not promise you that and you should be suspicious of anyone who does. Where you land depends on how many contractors in your city are competing for the same search and how established they are. What I can do is make sure nothing on your site is stopping Google from finding and understanding you, which is more than most small contractor sites manage.

Do you set up Google Business Profile?

I connect your site to your existing profile. If you do not have one yet I will walk you through creating it, because it is free and for a local contractor it matters at least as much as the website does.

Will the site be fast?

Yes. It is built as static pages with modern code, not a page builder loaded with plugins, so it loads quickly on a phone on mobile data in a driveway. That matters for Google and it matters more for the person deciding whether to wait for your page to load.

Do I really own it?

Yes. The domain is registered in your name on your card, so it is your property from day one. The design, the content and the code are yours. If you ever want to leave, I hand over the files and help you point the domain wherever you are going. There is no contract and nothing to cancel.

If the site is not live yet and you want out, you get your money back. Once the site is live on your domain and you have accepted it, the work is done and the sale is final. That is the whole policy and it does not change depending on which page of this site you read it on.

What if you go out of business?

You still own your domain and you still have your site files, which is exactly why the domain goes in your name rather than mine. Any web person in DFW could put it back online in an afternoon, because it is a standard site on standard hosting and nothing is locked to me. Compare that to a $99-a-month site: when that company disappears, so does everything, because you never owned any of it.

What if I already have a website?

I build the new one on a temporary address so you can look at it before anything changes. When you approve it, I point your domain at the new site. Your old site stays up the entire time and goes down only when you say so. If your current site is on a monthly plan, do not cancel it until the new one is live.

One person in Dallas-Fort Worth. There is no account manager, no ticket system and no offshore build team. The person who answers you is the person writing the code, which is the only reason a change can happen the same night you ask for it.
